Radio Nowhere

I agree, the logistics might be a bit of a mess but if it done somewhat early in the tailgate thing it would be a cool idea and could incorporate some special guests, breaking news etc. Would definitely be something unique.

I’m in

Syracuse isn't a big local talk radio market. Outside of a % of people on this board no one really cares about local live sports radio. Hate to be that blunt about it but that's the reality. Higgins was let go because there was no ratings and $$.
I guess my listening on a near-daily basis via the podcasts didn't count.

I preferred Higgins over Paulie & Steve.
I do prefer having two afternoon shows. One is just not enough.

FYI @www.espnsyracuse.com, if you'd like another afternoon show, just reach out. I'd be willing to host a show. We can meet this weekend in Atlanta if you'd like.

As announced during Orange Nation today, Tim Leonard will be hosting a show on ESPN Syracuse from 5-6pm starting on Monday.

I guess they were reading the board..

Paulie and Steve are good guys and solid hosts. But at the end of the day, I do find they tend to toe the party line when it comes to the University. I thought it was important to have at least one more show there to even have the chance at differing opinions. Obviously Axe was strong and had his own take. Higgins was more moderated but at least every now and then he would disagree or think differently.

Having only one show and a show that is more likely than not to skew pro University makes for a terrible sports talk setup.
Infanti is very good, but he is Switzerland and toes the party line. Paulie is insufferable and just terrible on the radio, how he continues to have a voice is just beyond me.

I heard on Orange Nation today that Tim Leonard is doing a show from 5-6pm. Drive time with Tim.
Basically replacing the 315 with Higgins.
