In a way it’s a good sign for the “what if Tuck leaves” crowd. Cooper knows he’s not gonna get a lot of snaps because Tuck isn’t going anywhere. Still, he will be missed and we need a serviceable backup ASAP.

As a team with no passing offense our RB depth now looks like Sean Tucker, Hough if healthy, then Allen and I don’t even know who else.

And it's hard to get a transfer portal RB for depth on a team where the starting RB had about 107% of the RB carries for 1,500 yards.

Teams in CFB and the NFL have bad seasons because they don’t have guys like this. Everyone looks at the best 10% on the team and forgets about the rest of the roster or entire segment of the game - special teams.

He's an important piece of the underbelly of a team? We always lack depth and we continue to lose backup players (Cole, Cantù, Lutz). All three a big losses. Lutz was even a captain. Loyalty means absolutely nothing today. It works both ways.

I’m not upset with lutz. Just nervous about # of RB’s in the room for the spring and fall. Hard to do scrimmages with one healthy RB.
