Interesting to know why it shakes your confidence in regards to him picking SU versus some other school. What does transferring to another HS have to do with his college pick?

I'm sure I'm overthinking things. But like Ryan said, it's just a little disconcerting whenever a big change takes place so close before a big decision.

In the south the school year ends early ... my daughter is done in 4 weeks ... so ideally you have to know now where they will be going to school next year ... I wouldn't over think it ... its just a coincidence it is happening before the announcement. Hell we just submitted her 2nd grade paperwork at a new school we want to place her in.

Sure, but I would think the big change impacts everyone equally. I'm just not sure how changing from one NC HS to another NC HS impacts a university in NY versus a university in FL versus a university in Texas.

Ok - I found out that public schools in NC are much more accepting of allowing early graduations and that SouthLake in particular isn't. So that's the reason for the transfer, it would seem.

I usually refrain from posting in recruitment threads because I understand anything can happen and I don't like to get too invested. That being said I could not refrain from adding to this thread. I am excited that we are in the top 6 but I would be lying if I didn't say I will be disappointed if the school at the end is not Syracuse. The kid seems to be great and I hope that where ever he goes he does well but I hope I get to watch him play on Saturdays in the orange and blue colors. (That line was not a set up to hear about uniform colors) I believe that he will be able to help us on the field with his play, as well as off the field, making this a place that is attractive like it once was.

Thanks Robert for taking us with you on this journey and I hope it doesn't stop here!

Been checking all week and its finally starting. Newest prediction on 247 is for Cuse from today! The guy is the UNC insider too.

Don't want to get too ahead of myself, but we have 3 of the 5 most recent predictions. The other 2 are Bama and Michigan from a while ago. Imo, Michigan has no chance after picking up 2 top running backs in the last 2 weeks. Bama could be a threat, but I just don't think its what RW is looking for. Too much depth there, lowest ranked academics on his list, the fans there arent showing him any love. His post on their forum is like 5 pages deep from the front page and has like 5 responses. None of these schools are loving this kid like us!
