Refs were s****

since we only committed 4 penalties I’m thinking the other one I didn’t like was the roughing the passer call. I thought that was a pretty weak call. I’ll have to go back and watch.

my in game recollection is really fuzzy today but I seem to recall one of their WRs basically tackling our guy to ‘block’ him and I was astonished there was no call.
I didn't like the roughing the passer call, either. However, on the replay, our D hit the helmet and that usually will get called. This was goofy as the QB was going down and the hit to the helmet was weak sauce but rules are rules for the Orange, not so for Orange opponents.

It was. Defender jumped and his hands came down on QBs helmet. Was weak and they had one on Tommy a few drives later.

I think that’s one of the things they should fix. Grazing a helmet is one thing, ripping at a QBs head another. There’s no middle ground

They called at least 2 similar roughing the passer penalties in the Iowa-Indiana game I watched before ours. Guess that's they way it will be. It's tough.

Good ol Southern Boys don't really believe we are in the ACC !!!
