I wish the young man all the best. I had a friend in college who had testicular cancer, had it removed, and went on to live a normal, healthy life. That said, I am a bit concerned for Rex when I read that it had spread to his lymph nodes and abdomen. I hope he soon gets a clean bill of health.

Agreed that is scary. That said he is young, in very good health otherwise, and probably would be in the top 1% insofar as ability to beat this given where it is. Really hope he does.
