Watching Inside College Football and Rick Neuheisel giving his boys Bullough and Lea (Coached with them before) some love saying he thinks our defense will be able to slow down Fournette, but is worried about LSU having too many weapons besides Fournette that will be our downfall. Thinks they will pass on us because we will be stacking the box all game.

I think Harris could have a career day against us tomorrow with all the focus on Fournette. Our secondary is suspect, and Harris has some wheels. Gonna take an almost perfect game from our guys to pull this off. I just hope we can make a game of it and avoid injuries.

Forgot to add. Neuheisel was the only one on the 4-man panel that thinks we can slow him down.

I watched some highlights of LSU's game against Auburn. On the touchdown where Fournette went over the top, he was limping coming off the field. I didn't see him again in the highlights and was wondering if he got dinged up. Anyone watch the game and know if he was ok after that play?

I believe he got a bruised knee or something like that. Him and Miles said hes fine.

I think he's right. I think LSU will pass a lot more than expected... and with the way our pass defense has performed ...

Except they've been getting some turnovers...

One of my hopes for this game. We will need turnovers and great ST play to have a shot. My major concern is that Dungey was responsible for our amazing turnover margin. The kid just doesnt turn it over. Hoping Mahoney can manage the game. I have zero faith in Wilson to not turn it over.

Did Neuweasel say he had a bet on the under for Fournette's total yards?

Anyway, Fournette will get his yards as LSU will keep pounding. There are exceptions, Arky last year, LSU had about 40 yards total rushing in an abortion of a game.

QB Harris will be the key for the season, can he get near 200 yards a game to keep the balance and limit turnovers? We will see.

As everyone here knows... extra possessions off turnovers are huge.

This is exactly what I expect. We'll stack the box and take our chances with their pass game.

LSU has potential in the passing game... we just have not seen it this year or with this QB with consistency.

I'm afraid of LSU having the ball for 40 minutes. We can't let that happen.

I've said as much in other threads. I watched both of LSU's games this year. Harris has shown a pretty good arm in his limited throws. He still has a lot to prove though. He only averages 4.6 YPA. which is really low. Miles needs to let him throw down field more, and give him more reps. He's gonna have to win a game for you guys at some point. Possibly as soon as this weekend.

Well Harris' career high is 178 yards ... so 179 will give him a new career high ... its kinda like saying you went from running a 10 second 40 yard dash to an 8 second 40 yard dash :)

I think it's more like saying he was a consensus Top 100, 4-star All-American who runs a sub 4.6, and we gave up over 400 passing yards to Cooper Rush from CMU last week. I'm more than a little worried.

We should def be worried, we've made small time QB's and backups become really good looking game managers or better, over the last few years or so. What's a QB recruited to play at LSU have the potential to do?

We've also made some piss themselves into TO's. Our pass defense troubles are becoming overstated.

I'm not saying we'll be successful, but I expect that's what we'll do. We have some SEC quality players on defense but not enough of them. I expect pressure, a lot of it, and selling out for the run.
