That could have been a touchdown.Perfect example of Collins' absolutely mind boggling open wide receiver blindness disorder

THIS...and this is one of the many problems with NIL. And as an aside, it also unfortunately encourages PED usage for young athletes (and probably way too young athletes) to take an easier path to the riches! Is it an NIL issue? As in someone paid Rickies NIL and if Fran cant get Rickie to work that booster wont fork over the cash to the program again next year? There has to be more to it, because we are trotting out the worst QB in P4 and not even considering a change. It makes no sense.
Listen, say what you will about Collins, but he doesn't score points, turns it over like it's his job, and doesn't actually come alive until games are out of reach, so coach scissor cut hoodie better be prepared.UNC D looked even better today than it did last week. From what I have seen of Collins, this NC D now can feast on him. He just does not have it.
The only good thing about the rest of the yearThat could have been a touchdown.
Is a Friday night home game really considered a "short week"?There's zero chance the staff starts Carney on a short week.
You have something to say about Collins, say it. Stop mincing wordsCollins is bad real bad one of the worst QB I have watched in Syracuse history. He does nothing well from a QB perspective. Can't read a defense, can't run, can't protect the ball, can't deliver accurate passes on back to back plays it is really bad.

That will have nothing to do with anything. We may not get a good high school qb, they are tough to get. But the fact that the coaches actually think that what we have behind Collins is a lot worse than Collins, is actually a positive for any high school kid.By the way anyone who thinks we are getting a good High School QB to commit here is dreaming. When you have a sophomore and 2 freshman who don't even get snaps in 4 blowouts , no good High School QB is coming here.
Especially when they look at who played except for 7 snaps in 4 games.
It was over for me when I read he hit a coach in the head while warming up on the sidelines last week. Could be false but the fact it’s believable is just pathetic. This exact play is when it is over for me and Collins. There is no hiding from that. Worst throw I remember.
I think it’s 2015 this year: we lose every game after a good start, then in the last game at 3-8 against BC we eke out that 4th win. Except Fran isn’t being carried off the field by the players like lame duck Cigar Boy wasThe only good thing about the rest of the year
is North Carolina is also bad on offense so maybe we will have a chance to win in the 4th quarter this week.
He hit the hot dog man in row 5 today and knocked him outIt was over for me when I read he hit a coach in the head while warming up on the sidelines last week. Could be false but the fact it’s believable is just pathetic.

I’d hope that Fran would be able to have a civil and reasonable discussion with this booster. Tanking the season and possibly his tenure just to save face with a booster would be just bizarre. If that’s the case, and I’m not trying to suggest it is, more likely a booster gave Fran money to “go get what he needs” and that resulted in Rickie. That makes it hard for Fran to go back to that booster for more, especially if he gives up on Rickie. Of course Fran could just say “my bad” and hope for the best.
Wouldn't that be more reason to come here? It shows we have no one good if they can't get in over Rickie.
It is too late anyway to get a kid for next year, so it doesn't matter.
So just to be clear, if it was a road game where they got on a plane Friday afternoon for a Noon Saturday game it would be fine but not a game they are playing at home friday at night. For purposes of not starting Carney?

Whose bright idea was it to play on Halloween at night? Anyone with young kids will not be in attendance. Just plain stupid. Doesn’t really matter though because the way the season is going they probably wouldn’t come anyways. For purposes of not starting Carney?
