UNC D looked even better today than it did last week. From what I have seen of Collins, this NC D now can feast on him. He just does not have it.

It's actually smart. Young kids aren't ready to see things like this. Their developing brains can't really process it appropriately and it will lead to longer term emotional issues.

This is why all the “we don’t have the talent” comments are utter nonsense. We have plenty of talent. What we don’t have is a remotely functional QB. And football in 2025 requires a good QB to have a good team. Period.

The whole sport revolves completely around the QB. If you don’t have a good QB you are utterly and totally screwed.

Never seen a QB miss absolutely wide open receivers this badly. His mechanics are beyond atrocious. That long completion to a completely uncovered Cook was underthrown by at LEAST 30 yards. Insane.

What’s hilarious is that some posters were ripping on Pena for leaving because “he should have stuck around to try to make Collins better”.

He’s missing wide open guys constantly. How the hell is a WR going to “make the QB better” when that guy simply cannot pass? The QB still has to throw the ball, and Collins can’t except for random lucky miracles once in a great while.

If this is all we had, I’m going to be glad the entire team didn’t just tap out and hit the transfer portal instead of being upset at the guy who did. If Collins started the year, we’d be looking at an o-fer season. I suspect everyone on the team knew that well before we did.

I just think Fran will continue to play Ricky the rest of the season. Imagine if he makes the change after unc and we become even remotely competitive against nd and miami.
