I loved Mythbusters. I was really bummed when that show seemed to die out.

I saw a blurb on him last night, remembered him from Mythbusters and dove into his career.

He really had an interesting life. Outside of Mythbusters, he went from almost dropping out of college to rebuilding R2D2 for the Star Wars prequels, acted as C3Po, designed the Energizer Bunny and Criag Ferguson's robot sidekick, and even won a season of Robot Wars.

RIP - sounds like he brought a lot of people joy.

Very sad. I loved MythBusters and watched Grant's short lived next show too.
Got to meet him at a convention once and have a picture with him somewhere.
