Man, to think how much further he would have been along if not for the damn NCAA taking their frigging time whether to deem him eligible or not. You can see how much better all of these kids have benefited from the Canada games and Roberson not getting that early feel has affected his game. Kid is oozing with talent. Just going to take time along with the transition from HS to College. Junior year look for him to be a bull for the Cuse.

I don't think Grant will be hear next season. Hope I'm wrong.
I really don't see where Grant is a first round pick. He still has ALOT of work to do on the offensive end. Once he establishes a consistent inside and outside game then he should head to the league until then stay your butt at SU and get better.

Latest Sporting News mock has him at 17 and Ennis at 26. Fwiw.

If we make a deep run and Grant lights it up, he's gone.

And so is Ennis. Dont know why people keep making excuses of why he cant play in the NBA when theres tons of reasons he can.

That was fantastic.

I don't think TSN is mocking Grant or Ennis. I'm pretty sure they are sincere.

Does anyone else notice how comfortable patterson seems? First off I love his attitude. But after that he looks like he belongs in limited time. If ennis can role us to a title I think we have enough guard support to be just fine should he shock us all and leave. Mike g is growing up as a backup pg and he has some mcw like traits on d and on offense too.. clearly he is no mcw level talent but he isnt chopped liver either.

I think we are really setting up well to simply reload. If we get more time for roberson going forward you can point to today as a turning point.

Oh and by the way.. rak seems ready to just explode offensively to me. He did a nice job today and that first jumper was pure. He is learning how to use his athleticism and is getting after it every game now. Also we arent seeing him get lazy all game. Instead he gets lazy and then responds to jb getting on him

One of the reasons he had his head in the game is JB reaming him out after that missed dunk. I think it may finally getting through to him he needs to get tough.

The more Roberson does well, the more Jimmy will trust him enough to play him in higher pressure situations if needed. This is especially true if DC continues with health issues or has unproductive minutes. We need TR ready to produce like today.

Grant's a lottery pick. Last Spring I was in the camp that said MCW needed to stay and get better. Guess what? He left and got better, and is now starting for the Sixers.

Its not that easy though, alot of kids leave early and end up in the d league for doing so. There was something like 5 rookies playing by the all star break last year.

MCW was made for the nba game it has suited his drive better having a center who can score, and spreading the floor with more then one shooter (only southerland) helped him slow down his drive in the lane some and use his court vision more. At 6'51/2 he can take pg's one on one and shoot a floater over them(something he didn't learn to the end of his sophmore year), even as a rookie.

Grant isn't drawling doubles in the midpost without a pullup yet. Ennis and sometimes Fair do. If he starts making a short 10 footer like butter similar to fair game in and out, this team could be 12-20% better.

Just watched the replay. Roberson played well today, a decent sized improvement from past games. He got to the line, finished, played good defense and rebounded the ball well. He also had a nice dish to Roc and about 3:30 left, clearly stole the ball and outlet ball quickly to Ennis but credit was given to Gbinije. Doesn't really matter but the point is, he's active and gaining confidence.

Nice drive and finish on that last play from Roberson. BJ also, very confident, took and hit that first three with very little room from the defender.
