Saint Dougie...

Ok time to move on. I’ll root for the fighting Marrones and Coughlins from here on out. But they better find that QB some confidence pretty quickly.

Let’s all agree on one thing, that the Pats will finally implode. Enough already.
No, no, no. Pats to the Super Bowl!

By the way, how can you win with a QB named after a car part?

The game was 10 to 3, Senor Carne.

Except those were the numbers for the year and they were tied for third for point differential

So I guess the whole Marrone wants rock fights is just another bit of garbage from you

Congrats to Marrone.

He called the right game with his craptastic QB and deserved to win.

Jax would be scary if they had a barely competent game manager at QB rather than Break Bottles.

You know in your heart of hearts he loved today's game and how it played out, because that was REAL football.

Came down to doing the right thing on 4th down. Good for marrone.

Bills receivers are hopeless. Better to be lucky than good. It was fun.

I've never seen two offenses this bad in the playoffs. Both staffs must grumble "oh ffs" all game long

Didn't feel like playoffs

Yeah. The receivers.

Ok but it's still the worst wr corps I've ever seen in the nfl
Losing Jordan Matthews and Andre Holmes wasn't ideal. WR is probably fifth or sixth on my list of changes I want to see this offseason, behind upgrades at OC, QB, rush end, the right side of the OLine, and probably LB. Just don't think WR is all that important, sort of like running back. If you have a great one, great. If you don't, whatever, they're a dime a dozen.

And some lovers don’t know when they’ve been treated like shiz.

Clutch onto that .500 record tho. Oh the memories.
Jags are clutching on to 11-6 right now with a playoff win. Hell, if they win the Super Bowl you'll be whining about a ".500 record." Marrone left SU for an NFL job.

Ahhhhhahahahahahaha

All depends if they can get game 6 through 14 Bortles to be there every game. If that's the case they are absolutely one to the top six teams in the league. That game yesterday was the outlier for the entire offense this year.

He might have cost himself $19M next year.

If you are a high end QB looking to cement his legacy you could do a lot worse than a team with that defense and running back. And no state tax.

Jags have options for win now, not a rebuild.

They are set up well for the future, I agree. But they have no shot this year.

there's not a team in the league that would be expected to beat Pitt and NE on the road and then Atl, NO, or Minny at a neutral site three games in a row.

No shame in that.

Doug and Tom game planned the Bills game to show nothing to the Steelers, no trick plays or deep balls, all by the book field position defense first vanilla. Anybody here who has watched Doug coach knows he will have something totally different in store next week.

good one.

Good season for the Bills. Too bad the coach is a meathead.

I'm excited for Dougie to beat the Steelers again next week and then get blown out by the Pats in the AFC championship.

good one.
They knew they could beat the Bills with just defense. They want a Superbowl, nothing less. Doug is going to use a similar game plan to the ones he used against West Virginia and Louisville which left Geno looking out his earhole.

I have never gotten that impression from Marrone.

My sense was back in the day, and remains, that he likes to throw the football.

That is based on what he did and saw in NO, with Drew Brees.

I think what we saw in 2012 was what Doug Marrone likes to do - in my opinion.

But, Marrone will also do what he has to do to win and that's what we see in Jacksonville right now.
