Saint Dougie...

Doug and Tom game planned the Bills game to show nothing to the Steelers, no trick plays or deep balls, all by the book field position defense first vanilla. Anybody here who has watched Doug coach knows he will have something totally different in store next week.

Silly post

there's not a team in the league that would be expected to beat Pitt and NE on the road and then Atl, NO, or Minny at a neutral site three games in a row.

No shame in that.

Might want to share reality with a few of your fellow Dougites.

Silly post
The Bills were a scrimmage game, and Bortles got his feet wet in the playoffs and got a win. That is all they wanted from that game. They let the D take care of business. Tom and Doug are little beyond your ability in strategic planning.

You have confirmed your status as the most clueless poster in this thread.

You can’t honestly think that the Jags were keeping plays in their back pocket for next week in a one-possession elimination playoff game?
Yes, that is how the Big Baloney rolls.

I think almost all posters here who view Doug as a good coach (you can call us "Dougites" if it makes you feel good) realize that any win from this point forward is an upset (even though they beat Pittsburgh during the regular season.) They can't score only 10 points and win another game in the playoffs this year. Any upsets will be because Bortles plays at his very best with very few mistakes. Their year will be next year provided they can grab a sold QB...maybe even Eli.

It was Bortles first playoff game with a wild home crowd. He had a case of the nerves. It would have been more odd if he came out and played out of his mind. He did what they asked. No int's and no sacks and make some plays with your legs. He led 1 great drive and that is all that was needed. If Pittsburgh's d schemes for that next week, they will be vulnerable.

Good get.

If I had Blake Bortles I would feel the same way.

We saw what was done yesterday - Bortles ended up moving the ball by scrambling out of the pocket.

And he only did that was it became clear that he could connect on even dump passes.

But, Doug said what he said - I accept it.

When Big Ben throws his first INT next week, he's going to think it's groundhog day all over again. He won't be able throw into coverage all game.

Not only in this thread but any thread he brings up UMASS.
Funny that you bring that up in this thread as I was lectured by numerous pundits on this board how Doug would never, ever get a head coaching job in the NFL again. And I all said about UMASS is that they present an intriguing value proposition for the B1G to develop in New England seeing that no conference really owns that valuable territory. And again I got wack a moled for thinking that is a possibility, and one that the ACC should be concerned with, by many of the same fore mentioned pundits. So I bring it up from time to time in various threads as a canard, but I don't believe it is just a joke.

Donovan McNabb begs to differ
pinkston thrash mitchell weren't very good but i'll take them over what the bills had this year.

1446 yards total from WR

59 guys have topped that by themselves
