Coming up from Hudson Valley/tr-state area with some ucon fans no less, first Dome game in 8 years I think.
The U-Conn fans better be paying for gas... or maybe they would be more adept at siphoning it.

Making the long trip from Dewitt. I hope traffic isn't bad tomorrow. Wednesday I got caught in traffic and it took me 8 freaking minutes to get to the game.
That is great to see a UConn fan travelling to the Dome. Any ideas why some few UConn fans ever make it up a game in Syracuse? Are Syracuse fans the only ones that travel in large numbers to Hartford for basketball?Whole conference has been siphoning off cash UConn has earned for years.
I'll be there with a group of 3 UConn fans and three SU fans. Should be fun. Always great to see Joyce.
I can't make it because tomorrow is my daughter's first Level 7 gymnastics meet. Does anyone have a daughter in gymnastics? I hope to watch the game before we leave.

Well, luckily at this point she is only seven years old. I am hoping that by the time that she is teenager, she will have enough time invested that she won't be worrying too much about boys.I pity you having a daughter in gymnastics, because she'll grow up to be a teen in gymnastics and teen boys love gymnast. First they are generally really pretty and second there are not many chubba wubbas trying to vault or do the balance beam.
HAHA, FWIW, they're not riding with me.Leave the UConn fans behind at one the 81 Rest Stops. You can pick them up on the way back home (but only if SU wins).

ESPN's coverage just didn't bring that noise across. They've done similar dialing-down of the crowd noise for football games. It was awesome. Everything a Dome crowd should be. I couldn't hear half the whistles down the stretch, and the stands were shaking after Joseph's three.

More than 31500 expected for Syracuse – UConn gameAny idea right now? Over 30K?
Make that "More than 32,000 expected"... both according to Axe (who was citing the SU Athletics Dept) and the linked article.
From what I understand visitors tickets are released the day before the game.
Just curious what section they are located in and what time of day this happens?
Someone told me 10 AM.
I did not see a single solitary Georgetown fan at the game.
I scanned around the Dome several times and didn't see any pockets of Hoyas.
Could it have been this welcome we gave them in 2009 or just because it was a Wednesday?
