If you want to keep White, you might have to cut off a finger like Monroe.

Monroe has been good, but our overall recruiting classes have stunk. I remember being scared to lose Chris White. Have to see the full picture of coaches before commenting, but as the LB coach is the only guy that was a White hire, I’d expect other changes.

I bet we will see immediate recruiting dividends from the changes yet to be announced (include portal recruiting.)

Announcing 2 guys coming back, 3 guys getting let go, with question marks for the rest of the staff is odd, to say the least. Hope Dino, While, and, Schmidt can recruit everywhere at once.

Who is going to recruit for us this next week when it's going to be crazy in the portal? Aren't we supposed to host some recruits next week? I've said it before, but (other than covid year) I don't remember ever hosting so few recruits for visits this season. This whole restructuring feels like we're putting a bandaid on a large gun wound. If they wanted to do this and save some money on a new HC, should have just given the team over to White and let him show what he can do.

Agree. Doesn't indicate great confidence of their HC and if so, doesn't inspire confidence on who they will attract to come.
I'm also guessing Dino told them I'll give you such and such amount of time to look around-At that point, you're in or you're out.
