What we want - and what we can actually GET - are 2 entirely different things.

I wonder if they’re being told they could play together, one guy being the SG and the other the SF?

Because if they both think they’re the same position, it may come down to who commits first.

And if said position is SG, it also depends on Buddy having departed the program before they arrive, such that 99% of the SG minutes aren’t already spoken for.

I agree. He is the kind of player that I could see being a good backup his first year, maybe two depending on the talent in front of him and then starring as a starter for a year or two.
