Not really sure. I could see it moving quickly with the right amount of money but he’s going through the draft process so it could be a while. If I had to choose I’d lean towards the end of this week.
Damn idk if I want a guy going through the draft process.

Probably won’t be there very long. He’ll get advised to stay in college and get his stock up. He’s not ready but he very well could be with the right coach, which I think is GMac. He’d get a guaranteed 1.5-2 million staying in college as well.

Well I hope we get him. Seems like he would be our leading scorer tbh

Sorry but basketball is still basketball, if I can
score more points then you I win. If you can't stop me from scoring and getting your best players in foul trouble you lose.
Regardless of what you think it still is 5 on 5 ,
and the end result is the final score. The game always changes, nothing about it ever stays the same.

Was this an attempt at philosophy?

That was 23 years ago. Pre Curry influence. Guys played differently then. Coaches coached differently then.
Edelin was a throwback even then. He was not the typical PG even of that time. His game was old school, such as his backdown, post-up game, his baby hooks and floaters in the lane. His handle and ball protection were lethal. He wasn’t lighting fast, but didn’t need to be. His game IQ was off the charts, and his 6-4 frame made him tough to defend. He could do it all. He didn’t bang threes, but he didn’t need to. He could create for himself and others at will. Stat sheet stuffer. He led his Oak Hill team to the mythical HS national title in 2001 before coming to SU. It’s a shame that he never had a full season in any of his years on the hill.

And the only reason he didn't start was Duany was a senior. Billy after missing the first 14 games over a ridiculous ruling by the NCAA was your point guard on that team and Gerry played his best position which was shooting guard.
