Rumors have been spreading since last week that Malachi is leaving Roselle Catholic. He's expecting to confirm whether it's true or false soon.

Yeah, I have heard this as well. The coaches recruiting him have told him it would be better to stay at RC, but who knows.

This seems bad. Not awesome.
Trenton Catholic, his original school before transferring to RC last season is the rumor school he's supposedly heading back to. Crazy how these kids change HS like underwear.

Malachi Richardson was one of the most impressive players at the Wide World of Sports on Wednesday evening. Ranked No. 11 in the class of 2015 by ESPN, Richardson has been adding offers continuously over the past month, and spoke with SNY.tv about a couple in particular that he is excited about. “Coach [Kevin] Ollie is a great coach, he has a great staff. UConn is a great school, and he has been making all of those guys better,” Richardson said. “Shabazz Napier is really going, he has been getting a lot better. I always have liked Syracuse growing up as well as Arizona and Indiana also.”

If a recruit doesn't know how to spell the school that offered then there should be a rule it's automatically eliminated.

It will be interesting to see waht happens to Pitt in the ACC with Dixon's style on the court and with his recruiting.

For the last few years, I've been predicting the start of the downward Pitt spiral. I was sure of it two years ago. However, I just don't see them maintaining their play and think they missed their window. Maybe the new style is the catalyst to get them back to where they were before the nice 10 year run?

If Dixon doesn't change his style then he won't land many top 50 recruits. Currently they're going the UConn, IU, Zona route of offering everybody, but I just don't see them attracting too many high-quality prospects with their style of play. Will be interesting to see if Dixon changes things up heading into the ACC.

I agree and I am very interested to see if he is a coach who can adjust or if his style (and player type) only works where the refs let you get away with it.

But can Dixon coach another style successfully and can he attract the players needed for another style.

Noooooooooooooooo!
Sorry Francis, will probably miss a few Malachi games this year, but they still have some decent talent.
Still, no Saintil, Beast, Malachi means they might not be as competitive this year for chip, but who knows.
Yeah they might not win another chip this season but they could still be competitive. Gist, Silva, Bullock, and a few more youngins that I heard are pretty good that should help. I'm really intrigued to see how Silva develops. Lots of positive buzz on his play/upside this summer.

Agreed. Very psyched to watch Bullock, Silva and Gist's progress.
:)
Will probably catch a few games, especially if they enter that mid-season tourney near me again.

Any of our guys have a Scout subscription? Saw that an article was posted about Malachi and his excitement with the Cuse offer; may be some noteworthy stuff for the forum.

No harm asking!

Nothing major that hasn't been out there already. Said Hop called and made the offer hmmm. Plans to visit during the b-ball season. Now that's where things kind of get confusing because he has mentioned wanting to visit for the elite camp this month, then said maybe sometime in September, and now he says during the b-ball season. So we'll just have to wait and see when his visit date actually becomes official.

"@BSnowScout: Malachi Richardson is still looking at Cuse, UConn, Indiana, UNC, Rutgers, Ohio St, G'town, UF, Miami, Nova, Kansas, & Zona"

Malachi is apparently taking an August visit to Indiana this month. Crean needs to Adios
