Strange tho unless Tucker is completely toying with us all but his number he wanted from Moyer and his highschool number was #2. Jordan price from gt had #2 last year but he is gone this year I believe so that would leave the number he wants open for him to have. So unless he's just trolling everyone with the #3 and #5 it definitely seems cuse favor IF his poll is actually legit. Which it's probably not just to keep everyone guessing. Fun stuff!

I'm now feeling very pessimistic, for a good number of specific reasons that would be against our interests to enumerate.

But, either way, i can't see how this should fall on GMac. A lead recruiter? If you're an engineering student, do you choose your school based on the Guide during your pre-enrollment tour? There are a lot of factors Tucker must be examining, and the personality or pitch of an assistant coach is probably not so high on the list.

I highly doubt anybody connected to gtechs staff would say a player would commit to their program as long as another player didn't go to Duke. No player is telling that to another school that's recruiting them, especially when they are all but certain to go there . Or atleast claim to be a done deal .

This kid is far from a must get. In my opinion he's soft and there's no way he'd be able to guard college 3s at this time. He's more of a 2. He's not going to be a good rebounder or defender for us. If he chooses tech over cuse then it's obvious he cares more about non basketball things. If that's the case then let tech deal with him partying with rappers and all the other stuff. All he's done is drop in the rankings over the last couple years anyway. There are a lot of Jordan Tucker's out there and Syracuse will be fine with out him. Give me Sid Wilson any day if the week over this kid. Actually give me any of the 18' wings over him.

Not saying you don't have a legit source or that you aren't right. And no disrespect to you but you aren't exactly posting anything that makes it seem remotely concrete that he's 100% gt. Obviously you can't give too much away but coming on a cuse board and saying your hearing 100% going to gt doesn't exactly say much of anything that differs from what is posted on here daily by fans and what they are feeling. Then again maybe you are correct but I for one am still on the fence and don't know what to think.

I'm sure you are hearing things but I guarantee you don't know anything for certain with regard to Tucker

Agreed. Not that Tucker is some incredible blue chip talent, but he would fill an enormous hole in terms of outside shooting and fit for our scheme. If we lose out on him, it really is a tough blow.

We might be able to land other prospects [Sid Wilson? / Fifth year transfer?] but Tucker would have checked multiple boxes by himself. It ain't over til it's over, but...

I have absolutely zero sources here. Based on everything that he has said, and the underlying factors, my educated guess would put him at GT. And honestly, it's for a lot of the reasons posted by ATLien.

However, him coming over here and throwing out 100% and BS like he's a program insider is rich. It's a lot easier to do on an opponent message board than your own when there are actually program insiders on it.
