JJ is playing more than 25 mpg. We may not like it but it’s happening.

JJ will be our leading scorer next season. People are crazy. His shooting numbers will go up with better pieces around him.

Some games, teams are going to pick their poison and decide to double Freeman. Kingz will be our lead scorer a lot of those games. Will there be enough games like that for averages to favor Kingz?

It would behoove us to bring on at least one player who knows how to set picks.

This is one of a few areas that we really need to improve on.

What is this word “pick” you speak of? I remember a lot of picks set for Gerry and Andy. Not so much recently. Lately it’s more like just stand in a spot in the corner until a pass hits you.

I, too, was a Delt. Much older than you. Back in my day I was fortunate enough to get housing in Lawrinson, which was almost brand new at the time, so I never lived in the house.

Nonetheless, I did board at the House for one or two semesters. Food was much better, but man it was a long walk from Lawrinson in the cold.

My father was a Delt too and I sure much older than both of you.

Guards are more likely to be a team’s leading scorer. JJ won’t be forced into so much volume next season and will hopefully be more efficient with George at PG, Kingz on the wing and Donnie doing his thing. I think Donnie and JJ will be close as our leading scorers. There’s no way Kingz is averaging more points than JJ. I just want to see us run better and more efficient sets next season—and on every possession.

You're not wrong, but from our NCAA championship up until the sanctions our leading scorer was usually a forward (one year Gmac led and Flynn led one year). Post sanctions, it has been a guard every year. Maybe this will be one of the keys to success next year.

Per 40m Kingz averaged just 3 less points on 7 less shots. We aren't going to agree here, but I think he needs to be at best our 3rd option offensively.
