Tucker rushed for over 1000 yards and 11 TD's during a not so great year. He is definitely NFL bound

And the passing game improved with only one guy really emerging. It's not like the WR talent was overflowing, and we don't throw to the TEs.

There's room for it to keep getting better, and I think Allen is going to fit into what the offense does really well.

One thing that I keep wondering is if the way Mike Schmidt coaches the OL does not completely mesh with how Anae runs the offense and coaches the TEs.

Mike Schmidt was a really solid OL coach at San Diego State. When he was coach there, SDST consistently had a great running attack and a bunch of O-linemen made it to the NFL.

I'm not saying that this is the single reason why Tucker ran for 400 fewer yards this year.
Just curious how the OL would work if Anae could hire 'his' guy to coach the OL.

I cannot wait to see how this offense and Garret look with a functional tight end. Loosing Elmore was the biggest loss of the season. It cannot be overstated. There was no one on the roster who could do what he did. Not trying to pile on but the people we had a tight end were one of the worst position groups I have ever seen at SU. And yes that includes linebackers under Gerg.

Disagree. He showed he can be a valuable receiver. His blocking also improved.

Two beefs I have with SHrader is that he holds the ball too long
and 2nd he doesn't check down to that 5 yard route. he likes that 12 -20 yard completion
and sometimes it just aint there. But I believe some of this is due to the new offense
and he and Anae will be on the same page and paragraph next year.
Better improve though...DRW, Lamson and Sellors aren't doing to be too far behind.

Look at the difference in the stats below, the top was last night’s game when he was healthier.

He needs a year of not being hurt, working with Beck and his receivers in the off season to show what he is capable of doing.

I'd be shocked if Sean Tucker came back. Whatever his owie(lord I hate that term) was, something like this could always happen again. I see him 95% healthy playing in a bowl to showcase where he's at and /or skipping the bowl and heading for a mind blowing combine performance.
He's got speed, power, cutting ability and can catch the ball. NFL knows it. Just how much depends on his being healthy.

SHrader will be back though. Anae and Beck can make him better and perform at a higher QB skill level than what he showed this season.

I really like Shrader and was impressed with how he played when healthy, but I see this as more of an indictment on QB rating metrics than a compliment to the overall season he had.
