So Jerry Palm has us 1st four in this morning as an 11 seed.

apparently thats a league thing. another reason to like the ACC

Yeah, Mizzou left that ish with the Big 12. SEC videos are more professional and in better taste.

I'd consider them but I think they miss as there resume is very similar to ours from last year.if they lose to Texas a and m they likely miss

I hear ya but this year the standards are supposedly different, ie quad system. A system where they favor comparatively well to other bubble teams.

Leaving the RPI in place is really going to leave the committee open to criticism. If they take a team with a lot of quadrant 1 ones, but a bunch of losses they will be criticized. Same if they take teams with a good RPI over a lot of quality wins.

Yup they've boxed themselves into a corner. Dumb idea.

That Miami win is now a top 25 road win.
Miami is back in the top 25.
If we get into the tournament that win will be key.

Can’t believe Miami is undefeated since we beat them.
Beat Wake and play UNC close we could be in Dayton.
Beat UNC we are a 10 or 11 seed.

Agreed. I think it comes down to what's more important to the committee:

1) Putting in the best teams
2) Not embarrassing the Big 10 and Pac-12

its all in flux.. Palm has us in and UL out.. if it came down to just those 2 we might see it.. in any case FSU beating UL would be good
Palm doesnt like Alabama/UL, Lunardi doesnt like us/Marq but maybe we jump up when they update from yesterday.

thats pretty much the only spots those two flip.

Prov/KSU/ST Bon/Marq/USC/UCLA/Texas thats about the bubble that can help us with losses
Louisville is 4-12 in q1 and Q2 games. I don’t see how anyone thinks they’re close to being in.

my current last 6 byes after further evaluation of the bubble:
Texas
Butler
St Bonaventure
Usc
Ucla
Arizona St

Last 4 in:
Marquette
St Mary's
Syracuse
Kansas State

first 3 Out:
Baylor
Providence
Alabama

Still in the mix:
Oklahoma St
Notre Dame
Louisville
Utah

Palm says: Beat UNC - probably in, lose to UNC - probably done.

"Syracuse has to beat UNC to feel comfortable, I suppose they could do less but they're probably done if they don't beat North Carolina".
What if Carolina only beats us by 2 points? Huh? Huh?????

E X a c t L Y - makes no difference. Whether we lose by half a point or a hundred, the committee could care less. It's about the W, that's it.

if they beat us by a 1/2 point id be really impressed:)

I think it will be more if they afford out the respect to the SEC and B12 that the RPI is giving them. Maybe they sit back and say, this doesn't pass the smell test especially for the SEC.

I highly doubt they let Penn St and Nebraska in. But maybe the P12 gets an extra one.

I think the committee would get a hard on over a wash/ cuse game.

If that game happens, a few posters here would spontaneously combust.
