Source please? there is no way it is 29k sold, I call BS.

Yikes. I don't know if it's 29k, but there are a boatload of tix available on Ticketmaster. If not 29k, it's close to that.

Ville was piping in noise the other day in practice. Guess they didn't get the memo.

yikes then, I'm surprised

Rutgers will break their home record crowd vs. Michigan with 56k wearing red and staying the entire game and the Cuse will have 35k vs Louisville in our '14 ACC opener with most leaving at the half.
Think future NJ/NY recruits are taking notice?

meh, I don't know about all that. its not our opening acc game, at least not in the sense that you are framing it, and both Rutgers and Michigan stink.

Michigan has the name, regardless of record.

This isn't Rutgers' opening B1G game.

I guess im just saying, who cares about Rutgers attendance when we are losing. we haven't actually beat anyone this year, our problems are our own, not because of the success or perceived lack of success of other programs.

Amen. FIFY ;)

And to think I had to argue with someone when they said we should see north of 40K for our remaining home games because of how "competitive" we've played so far.

:bat:

We should. Team deserves it.

Yet we consistently make fun of them

Why play in a half empty dome when you can go somewhere that supports the team? People bring up the fact that the one Rutgers game was there b1G opener yet we couldn't even sell out our ACC opener vs Clemson

This matters for recruiting... I certainly wouldn't want to play in an empty dome. This is nationally televised as well... Sucks... However, I thought we had 40k sold the Maryland week? We had a sellout thread, maybe this is all someone trying to stir the pot, we will see.

I would guess alot of those tickets were bought before everyone realized Michigan was going to stink.

I will be at the game as usual but... with a 3 hour trip to the game, Friday night games are not optimal for me. First, I have to take time off from work if I want to tailgate (which I do). I also don't get home until about 1 to 1:30 a.m. after a 3 hour drive. I am glad I don't have to choose between a Friday night high school game for my son v. SU game like many others do. I prefer Saturday afternoon (or even noon) games.

I would also guess at least 20K of those tickets were bought by Michigan fans.

Looking at ticketmaster today it appears to me tickets are moving, Might end up pushing close to 40 again.

Louisville should have at least 20 fans there.

Judging by past visits anyway.

Another show of silver on national TV. And then everyone can blame another group for it.

maybe the fans should have a red out for the game to show the good doctor that we are the Orangemen and if we don't wear orange on the field then should the fans wear orange in the stands

Attendance Excuse? :noidea: I didn't need an excuse, I just told my boss I'm taking a half day tomorrow so I can be tailgating by 4.

I got fired once for that and I was working on a job up at S.U. at the time.....best move I ever made that year.

I told the boss that I was leaving at noon the day before and gameday at 10:30 am he said he was getting rid of me at the end of the day and could I stay for the whole 8 hours. My response was " what part about noon you don't understand" so I left at 10:30.
