Yeah, because the overall talent levels on ND's vs SU's are so close. SU recruits over 5 star DE's every year.
I'll try to make this simple. At ND he's just another guy competing for PT with similarly talented guys.
At SU the starting DE's are 2 and 3 star kids that are limited in ways and the starting outside LB's are a converted WR that is maybe 215 and a sub six foot kid from Ga that has trouble playing in space. I'm sure he would have the same struggle getting on the field here as he does at ND.![]()
Chandler Jones and Justin Pugh were 2 star kids and first round draft picks. Your point makes no sense. How they are rated in HS means very little, you should know better than that. I don't think ND has a great talent level. Look at the the last ten years. Other than last year( A lucky fluke) they havent been that great. SU would beat them this year and I think they would have last year as well. ND isn't Clemson.
