Notes: Four starters return up front – Servais (LT), Vettorello (C), D.Davis (RG) and Bergeron (RT) ... Servais went from center to left tackle and Vettorello moved from left tackle to center for the last three games of 2019 and the results spoke for themselves ... Redshirt junior Darius Tisdale will sport a new jersey number (56) and work as the first-string right guard until Davis is healthy ... Senior Patrick Davis and Austin Chandler are competing at left guard ... Davis is the more experienced of the two and is listed as the starter ... Redshirt sophomore Chris Bleich and true sophomore Mark Petry joined the program in January ... Bleich, who transferred to Syracuse from Florida after starting eight games at right guard for the Gators in 2019, will sit out the 2020 season unless he's granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA ... Petry and redshirt freshman Anthony Red are the primary backups at right and left tackle, respectively.
Red has a torn achilles.
Froumy's knee is in a brace.
Pat Davis is in a walking boot.
Dakota Davis missed 1/2 of 2020 before returning a few weeks ago.
Bleich was never eligible. Would have missed 1/2 of 2020 recovering from surgery anyways.
Petry is skinny.
Servais is playing on one leg.
Of the two true frosh OL, Josh Ilaoa is in the rotation. Garth Barclay has only seen action in 1 game.
