Hopefully Syracuse has better plans. Though this one is a tough one. Even when her shot wasn’t falling she contributed in other ways not on the stat sheet. Can totally see her ending up at Louisville.

I just don’t get it unless it’s a money issue. She started and got plenty of playing time. Would continue to and be a leader on the team.
Hope Coach Jack is going to get more resources. Ridiculous there’s not more support based on how she elevates the program. Unfortunately without the financial backing there is only so far she can go in the current climate.

A big loss dont get me wrong. But she did take a step back this year in terms of stats; shooting just 36% from the field is not great.

One thing of note: I dont think Izoje stays if there was no chance of fielding a competitive team.

agree, with Potts I could see her wanting more playing time. Burrows is still a mystery though unless she knew she was going to compete with someone else for playing time.

Just read about that Weave agency. Only started in Dec of 2025 and specializing in women’s basketball particularly international players. Uggh.

I think these agents are hyping players up, talking to teams, gauging their market value. Some team will pay Sophie!! She has a skill set that is much in demand.. She can shoot the three ball and what she lacks in athleticism, she makes up for with a high basketball IQ, grit, and toughness. I just loved watching her play. She will be hard to replace!
