What the hell was he doing at the end of the game?
It was dumb and classless in a rout. JB spent a few seconds talking to him about it prior to the team handshake

In observing James it seems that his level of maturity and social skills are below average. Oftentimes after he has made a shot or two he acts almost childlike with his glee and it can be noticed in his facial expressions and body language. I don't mean that in a derogatory sense but it's just an observation that I've made over the past several seasons. Not carrying oneself with an appropriate level of maturity can be reflected in the way he relates with his teamates and the way that he is perceived in the eyes of the coaching staff.
Although it's obvious that he has been in a slump shooting the ball from outside the arc, I've noticed a marked improvement when he puts the ball on the floor and drives toward the basket. He has shown what I feel is a surprising handle. I could see him stepping into KJ's role next year if he were to make some progress in the manner in which he carries himself and exuded a more mature and devoted attitude on the court. I don't think there can be any arguement in the fact that he has been blessed with some freakish athletic skills, but as often is the case great players not only are gifted athletically but also possess the ability to communicate, provide leadership, make prudent decisions and exude a certain persona which James has yet to demonstrate he has command over.
I'll help you out. He has great athetic gifts but he acts like a 5th grader.huh?
again... huh?I'll help you out. He has great athetic gifts but he acts like a 5th grader.
No wonder you didnt' understand it.again... huh?
Are you kidding?
If anyone can read lips it was clear JB used the phrase "Jackass" when speaking directly to JS... Saying either "Don't be a jackass" or "You can't be a jackass."
Boeheim was bothered by it, and clearly apologized to the SJU staff as he made his was down the handshake line afterwards.
You're right, I suffer from too much grad school from time to time. My bad!

Jb not only apologized to the SJU staff, he apologized to the player.
All you guys saying it was no big deal are the first to whine when Rugers' lineman charge forward even though the QB is taking a knee and the offensive line is literally just standing in place.
Can't have it both ways.
St. Johns was admitting defeat and letting the clock expire as quickly as they knew how - by standing pat.
Southerland was in fact a jackass for trying to steal the ball up 25 with less than 3 seconds to go - And JB called him just that.
Stop trying to pretend is wasn't an a*hole move, because it was in every way, shape and form... Just like when Rutgers sends their D-Line full throttle after a QB who's taking a knee.
