As SJU (Harrison, I believe) was running out the clock around mid court, Southerland stepped in as he was about to hand the ball to the ref with 1 second life trying to steal it. Harrison pushed him out of the way, rightfully so, and the refs blew the whistle to settle the minor "dispute" briefly.
Just a stupid play by Southerland, and everyone here knows it.
If it was Harrison who did that to Triche, people here would be saying how classless it was. Just like if Dominique Jones threw down a windmill at the end of the game instead of Flynn when we played USF. Everyone read Otto's post--he is spot on here.
Amen. Let's call a spade a spade and let's move on. Defending the indefensible is a contortionist act.
