very confused over what issue they are trying to solve with the geo fencing.. basically it says that the 10 counties have to be allowed to do mobile to the indian servers, but only if you are inside the counties can you make the bet. so i can bet from my backyard but not if i walk across the street.

the issue is how will it decide where i am if the tower is outside my county how does it no i am inside the county.. its not like every place has multiple towers to triangulate with.

I guess it’s official. But it’s a mess? I have mixed feelings on the Oneida’s statement. They’re basically saying “how dare the state make us compete for consumers business”. But at the same time they do provide $70 million a year

Sounded like they would approve 2 vendors? Mentions more handle with more vendors? perhaps but that would mean people shop around and not bet at all if then didnt get a line they didnt like. You could argue that but most people I know dont shop around all that much like serious bettors might..

Most people would just like ease of betting and loading accts. It will be interesting to see how long the deals are for before they allow others in.

They pretty much have to do the deal with the oneidas in some way? thats a Caesers tie in. How many would want in. I would think whatever thought the NY city market was best for them that would be the majority of the money.

Mostly odds chasing for season long futures. Also in NYS you can’t bet on anything voted for like MVP so it requires a sojourn across the border.
