Hmmm...hate to be a Debbie Downer. But this will never go away... true or false. I'm a liberal and an NPR listener btw but from my perspective people tend to want to believe the negative ... it makes them feel better about their own s****y little lives. Ya'll have kinda proven it. You say for example remember the Duke scandal ... after a time it went away. Obviously it didn't b/c you remember it. And the sucky media will dig their heels in and push and carry this story as long as the people, with their short term petty memories, will allowand provide any level of interest and listener- readership.

There is no doubt that Lindsley will **k this story up beyond belief. Guarantee he has some minor league catcher from 1968 on his show today to promote a book.

He read the allegations and recapped what ESPN is reporting.
They he said this was NOT like Penn State that there were no charges, no testimony, and no grand jury – just accusations. He talked about how the school had investigated years ago and seemed to be open on honest about it.
Then he read JB quotes and said he was coming out strong and quickly in his denial. He said JB was really putting his neck on the line. He said that is what you would say if it wasn’t true and tends to believe JB.
He said one way or another someone is lying Davis or JB and either way it is a horrible situation because either a highly respected assistant coach’s reputation is ruined or someone got molested.
Then he basically said he isn’t touching it any more until the rest of the facts come out.
