Cordy’s move makes a lot of sense actually. He’s a warrior and played the S spot well *for his size* ... but now that we have better talent starting to percolate up? Use his elusiveness and speed to work on O.

Frederick and Scoop were very good most of the season. I’m most concerned with getting S right. With Martin back there last year we looked waaayyy better on D. When he got hurt, we got ripped.

I am so conflicted about all these changes. I know it’s spring ball depth chart but what the heck. Why practice Richards all last year at mike and now switch him to slab. Guthrie is leading Mike so far but where did that come from. Cisco at safety ahead of Clarke. Coleman not in there. Injury still? I have so many ???????????????????

I wouldn't read to much into this, Babers is just having a little fun. If I recall there were a few suprises last year to and by fall camp everyone had gone back to there "natural positions". SU is going to have about 12 WRs on the roster, I would be shocked if Cordy was a starting WR come that first game @ WMU. Ditto Guthrie and Cisco starting.

Maybe, personally I don't see it. SU has a huge amount of slot guys already and a couple of really talented ones who will be here in August. Cordy will be back at Safety by August.
