Cordy’s move makes a lot of sense actually. He’s a warrior and played the S spot well *for his size* ... but now that we have better talent starting to percolate up? Use his elusiveness and speed to work on O.

I'm all for it.

Maybe it gives him a chance to play at the next level.

And maybe it indicates that our talent level in the secondary is much improved.

Should be fun to watch - I'm rooting for AC!

Completely agree on all points.

Additionally, I read last year that AC is the fastest player on the team. Speed and strength is the slot could translate into some HR/take-it-to-the-house type plays.

Yeah I didn't see it coming, but I'm really intrigued to see what he can do on offense with his athleticism.

Frederick and Scoop were very good most of the season. I’m most concerned with getting S right. With Martin back there last year we looked waaayyy better on D. When he got hurt, we got ripped.

I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of them get beat by Iffy or Stritz sometime this season. Let's not forget that Trill will be arriving this summer.

What a relief it is to finally have some depth at one of the most important positions on the field.

Agree. Hope it works out.

Could just be a Spring experiment. I would guess the coaches think he could step right back in at safety.

Cisco is the part that scares me. Maybe there’s a grad transfer on the way that they know about. No one walks into a starting job at a position like that as an early entry true freshman.

Cordy has caught a pass or two before no? I think this is a good move but also consider the base O would not include that 4th WR spot. It's Bulter, Johnson and Custis.

RTB the 1st backup at inside slot is eye opening to me.

Otherewise, Depth Chart looks fine. Some injuries and some cross-training going on.

Hope Black, Coleman and Berry can come back healthy...would be huge. Like the outside the box thinking on Cordy, wonder if some of the newbies on the staff pitched in with that idea or maybe even Cordy? I could see Cordy returning punts once in a while to change the pace. Cisco starting...interesting.
