? That's an odd response... Pittsburgh's net ranking is 80, which makes that a Q2 win.

Weren't they # 68 in net b4 they played us??

Losing to us dropped them to 80??

Any road win on a team up to 75 in NET is a Q1 win no?

Also, beating them moved us from #80 to # 73.

It’s where you end up, doesn’t matter what your ranking was at game time. Pitt is now a quad 2 win

Yep have felt like we need to be more patient with the team as a whole and give these guys more leeway and time to figure everything out.

After all, it is still year one with a first year head coach, taking over a down program, with a very young team, where everyone still needs the time and reps to actualize their potential.
Besides Benny everyone on the team is a sophomore and no one on the team, besides Q, is a natural leader.
So it’s a lot of trial and error, it’s a lot of guys stepping in and finding how to play the game the right way, how to be effective in roles for the first time and how to play together and a as a team.
All of which takes time.

Everyone we are running out there has potential to be solid or better at this level, even including JT, who has received a brunt of the criticism. And JJ has potential to be great college player and im glad he had a good night and silenced some of his doubters…he earned that.

Maybe we don’t get a tournament berth this, maybe we do, either way im riding with our team and supporting them regardless.
We’re clearly heading in the right direction, even with the highs and lows and next year we will take another step forward.

All you can ask for is the team to respond to adversity, play hard and get better over the course of a season, all of which they have done.

So holding out hope they take care of business the rest of the way and squeak in the tourney for Reds 1st year.

He has 1 weakness and thats not being aggressive enough. Kid can flat out play. Gotta get him attacking. Shoot a few short jumpers, make em and he is off.
He misses very few mid range, would like to see him hunt that more.
