Yep have felt like we need to be more patient with the team as a whole and give these guys more leeway and time to figure everything out.
After all, it is still year one with a first year head coach, taking over a down program, with a very young team, where everyone still needs the time and reps to actualize their potential.
Besides Benny everyone on the team is a sophomore and no one on the team, besides Q, is a natural leader.
So it’s a lot of trial and error, it’s a lot of guys stepping in and finding how to play the game the right way, how to be effective in roles for the first time and how to play together and a as a team.
All of which takes time.
Everyone we are running out there has potential to be solid or better at this level, even including JT, who has received a brunt of the criticism. And JJ has potential to be great college player and im glad he had a good night and silenced some of his doubters…he earned that.
