The coaching staff has failed the kids.
I get we don’t have elite talent but the coaching staff has to coach better. They aren’t correcting and cleaning up mistakes.
Culpepper starts but I would mix in the freshman and see if any of them can play.
Liberty’s defense won’t kill them like sticking them in against Clemson.

I don’t disagree with your premise that Dino is way too loyal to this guy. But I will also say he doesn’t have much of a choice. Look at Culpepper - who is the backup. He can barely throw the ball.

If tommy is done then this team could very easily lose to Liberty. Even if they win that game it will likely be the last win of the year unless they get lucky somewhere. The season is a wash at this point so I'd rather not see our young qbs get their heads pounded in. I'm all for giving them each a series a game but having Clemson, ND and the rest of the conference beating them into dust 40 min a game, game in and out, doesn't do anyone any good.

#1 Florida State led Jameis Winston at the Dome in 2014.

#2 is way worse. Devito is pretty good at throwing the football Rex isn't even good at that.

I get the frustration with Devito but the WRs are so awful its not really on him. Remember too they are dumber than less talented and blow the reads 9/10. Noone makes tough catches especially Taj the one good WR who gets loose once agame for a bomb but that is it. Courtney Jackson stinks he couldn't make aplay when it was there. Queely caught a couple balls but eye test screams a guy who should be 1AA. Johnsons aren't good. We should have punted on these busts and got some Jucos in just go take the guys with good stats from Last Chance U schools.

But the play he got hurt on sums up the frustrations takes a sack when he absolutely can't take one.
