Pretty questionable thus far.So far he has not been inspiring. Maybe somewhat unfair but Rutgers was no mystery.
Announcers were up their with some of the worst I have ever heard, I'm sure my recency bias is kicking in but they were just awful. Pair that with the terrible experience that is the ACCN and the camera angles and to add the cherry on top was out pitiful performance. I might have to start leaf racking early this year lol...What really stood out to me, is in a 10 second span the camera flipped to greg schiano and you can read his lips yelling “run right!” then the announcers say, “the last time syracuse was in this formation it was a run to the right” and then we ran to the right…. if the opposing coach and those CLUELESS announcers knew what was coming then you as an offensive coordinator are not doing your job to an acceptable level. can’t do the same thing over and over and expect different results.
I have to say that I actually thought I was watching on the Big ten network. Not from a bias but they seemed to know a lot more about Rutgers players than our guys. At one point, they actually talked about the major that one of their players had.Announcers were up their with some of the worst I have ever heard, I'm sure my recency bias is kicking in but they were just awful. They did.Didnt USF laugh at this hire?
Yes, we are one of the worst prepared, undisciplined teams I have ever seen. Its like we have been throwing crap at the walls to see what sticks and nothing does. No game plan on offense.Didnt USF laugh at this hire?
2 gamesI said this in another thread. I have no clue what the gameplan was for most of the game. It was almost like we were just calling plays to call them. This was as bad as any Shafer offense I saw with a QB who is supposed to be a star and coach who’s supposedly an offensive guru.

Well today anyway. We didn’t look ill prepared or undisciplined last week. But after the 2018 season, Dino’s hallmark on offense has generally been inconsistency from week to week, half to half, or drive to drive. It’s frustrating to watch. So our offense looking like two different teams one week to the next is actually consistent to how we’ve looked the past couple of years.Yes, we are one of the worst prepared, undisciplined teams I have ever seen. 2 games
zero TD passes
Think that shows how irrelevant we have become. It’s laughable thinking we are in the same league as even Rutgers. We brought in Dino to have an explosive offense. What we got is a capable defense and an anemic offense. Need a change, he should be fired and evaluate the remaining coaches. As far as I’m concerned Gilbert shouldn’t even show up again either.I have to say that I actually thought I was watching on the Big ten network. Couldn’t agree more, horrible production all around. from the call of the game to the random and dragged out camera cuts, just a horrible day for the ACCNAnnouncers were up their with some of the worst I have ever heard, I'm sure my recency bias is kicking in but they were just awful. when a previous coaches fan base says it’s bad hire in numbers it’s usually true.Didnt USF laugh at this hire?
Crazy thing is if shafer made Lester his oc he might still be hereI said this in another thread. I have no clue what the gameplan was for most of the game. Between cavanaugh and Gilbert, it’s certainly been true for our last two “major upgrades.”when a previous coaches fan base says it’s bad hire in numbers it’s usually true.
Unimpressive offensive scheme today. No motion. No option. No misdirection. One post pattern? So far he has not been inspiring. Maybe somewhat unfair but Rutgers was no mystery.
