Let’s hope that was a fluke. It was was like he was kicking stones
As a long time not very good golfer, I know shanks. The other two also looked like they were shanked… unless the punter intends the ball to go straight sideways off his foot with almost no lift which would definitely be an innovative approach. Also one of the punts got a definite 10 yard or so roll.

All of Stonehouse’s were shanks. Bad direction, no elevation or hang time.
Very unlike him.
Isn’t the idea to get the ball to roll. That’s not a criticism in my opinion. one of the other ones the commentators called it a shank, that’s the impression that was left. The other two also looked like they were shanked… unless the punter intends the ball to go straight sideways off his foot with almost no lift which would definitely be an innovative approach. He's got one solid college season under his belt. I don't think that whole season was a fluke. I'm chalking it up to a bad day at the office yesterday and not hitting the panic button. Even his bad day was better than Max last season.
Good to know. I appreciate the detailed research. Something to keep an eye on for sure as the schedule gets stronger and field position could become a big factor. One thing I will note is that he did have a propensity to kick some duds at Mizzou. Looking at his game log he had 3 games in the first half of the season where he averaged less than 40 yds a punt. Far too many 20 something yard punts mixed in with some boomers. Season to date - Van Marburg was even with him at this point last year.
He was Stone cold last night lets hope he gets it together as he is a talent
Send me some swing videos. I’ll help ya out… you’re too good a person to struggle with the best game in the worldAs a long time not very good golfer, I know shanks.

Let’s not get off topic. All three kicks were insufficient. Some were just worse than others. No need to panic, but definitely something to pay attention to because he was a problem last night. One 20 yard shank.
The other two went 40 and 43.
The 40 yarder wasn't returned.
The 43 yarder had a penalty tacked on.
The offense is scared to not score seeing those. He's got to be thinking...
"Why did I portal to a school that only punts 1-2 times a game?"
Do you extend him now?Better today
LOL.Do you extend him now?
LOL.Do you extend him now?

The next three weeks are why we scholly’d him.
