I don't know that KS was power hungry but clearly mostly an academic type who wasn't experienced enough in running a business, which a university is. As
dasher described to us in his posts awhile back about his attempt to get KS and AW together, it isn't clear that KS actually does anything himself. For example others screen his calls and email. As I believe
llandz said awhile back after meeting with KS, he said he doesn't decide what to do, others decide that for him. Or something like that. I've been told the same thing by people I know who have had interactions with him. I have a sense that Haynie will operate very differently. As a Ph.D. and professor in entrepreneurship (sp?) I expect he won't have things decided for him but will run his own ship. He'll be making decisions a directing actions I suspect. In fact in one of his interviews he said he answers his own emails and attempts to get back to people within 24 hours. A breath of fresh air.
