The card will be fine as its going to be such a cluster the first few games they will probably prefer physical proof versus people trying to pull up their info online at the last second using the god awful WIFI. Prepare for massive lines and wait times for at least the first few games.

Also, smart tip for anyone that has an apple and is using the excelsior pass, put the pass in your Apple wallet. With this you won’t have to have access to wifi/provider network.

I would definitely recommend getting to the games early. We have paperless ticketing and proof of vaccination/proof of negative test both happening for a major event at the same time. Just one would be a major bottleneck. Dealing with two is going to be a great challenge for everyone involved.

The best thing you can do is place your electronic ticket(s) in your electronic wallet before you leave for the game. If you have the Excelsior app (or one like it for another state), load it and have your 2D bar code ready to display before you leave for the dome. If you have a picture of your vaccination card (I assume this will work), get that loaded up before you enter a queue for dome entry.

My understanding is that there is a new separate wifi network that has been created outside the entrances of the dome to support this. If you don't get your tickets and COVID proof ready before you leave for the dome, at least get that stuff ready before you enter the dome. Once in the dome, if you use wifi, it will be the wifi in the dome, which is likely to be worse than the coverage outside.

If we all leave a little early, maybe we can all be in the stands to watch the band perform before the game. It has been a while. Might be fun to watch those tuba players free form and count them up. I am hoping we have a dozen. That would be a nice way to start the home season.

Excelsior App only works if you have a newer iphone running ios 13.0 or greater.

You just go online and renew it. My wife just had to do this and said it was simple and instant. mine “expires” in august so I will have to try it then.

You need to delete your pass and get a new one. It’ll extend to one year from when you got your shot

You can do it right now and it’ll extend your pass until 1 year after your second shot

as of the latest article i read boosters will not be required for moderna or pfizer for a while if ever
