And no students.
Students dont go to Womens games anyway (unfortunately).
And no students.
SU would never pay for any place when they have the Dome available. Who would want to come here to play at an off campus site? So that is negaitive on the recruiting aspect. Throw in the cost assoicated with converting from hockey to basketball back to hockey and the rental cost would be bigly. The Athletic Department needs to rent the Onondaga War Memorial for the women’s hoops team. Having attended hundreds of Syracuse Crunch games this venue would give the team a great hold court advantage. If they only draw 3000 fans a game there would be 3000 empty seats not 39,000.
Another option would be to play at the Expo Center at the NYS Fairgrounds.
It’s half court.Doesn't JB have a court in his basement?
Let them play there.
That should help with the lack of team speed discussed earlier in this thread, no?It’s half court.
It's closer to Solvay, so there's that.War Memorial over the Expo Center, there is nothing out there in State Fair land. At least with the War Memorial you have the downtown venues.
