The response concerned the '86-'87 squad featuring Monroe, Coleman, Thompson and Brower.

My favorite part of that video is the final play, where Freeman drives from just above the free throw line and dunks.

Freeman looked good doing it, but he didn't make the play... Souare screened off two defenders attempting to rotate to defend the basket at once. I haven't seen that since Arinze!

I watched a few times,and can't figure out who the two guys are. But Souare having the awareness to create the driving lane by stopping two guys at once would be moderately impressive if it was me and IthacaMatt.

Who cares who starts at the 5. Call me old but I’m used to Forth and McNeil (Doesn’t matter which) just taking up space and fouls and some dunks and rebounds.

Nice screen capture... Thanks. My Instagram wasn't letting me stop the video today for some reason. Souare letting his hair grow is messing with me. Not as much as George shaving his off, though.

Everybody should be required to get a haircut and stick with it, just so it's easier to tell them apart in quick practice videos.

From the picture, is that a legal screen? I always thought the offensive player had to stand straight up with his hands to his sides. Souare has his back to the defenders and he is reaching to either side and holding the defenders. I feel like that would get called in a game.

Especially your 5 screening for your go to 4 man. When executed it puts the defense in a no win situation. In this practice scenario there is no need for Kyle to risk injury and shove through and foul Donnie but this is often an and 1 scenario…

Rarely gets called as he is sealing his man. In most cases the defender fights through, is late , and fouls or just gives up.

I agree, it rarely gets called if you seal your man. But, I feel that when I do see it get called, it's when a guy us doing exactly what we see trying to "seal" two guys by reaching out with both arms.
