Summer Sessions 2025

I agree, it rarely gets called if you seal your man. But, I feel that when I do see it get called, it's when a guy us doing exactly what we see trying to "seal" two guys by reaching out with both arms.

The thing Souare does well is being subtle about it if you watch it in real time. The snapshot looks bad but at game speed it’s innocuous

From the picture, is that a legal screen? I always thought the offensive player had to stand straight up with his hands to his sides. Souare has his back to the defenders and he is reaching to either side and holding the defenders. I feel like that would get called in a game.
No. It’s a foul on Souare, but it’s not always called. It’s one of those little things that can help you win games.

Did the tbt team do a scrimmage with the current team?
Any would on Fennel? He really needs to get to campus and start working with the team if he wants any chance to have playing time this year.
Heard Griffin say the big freshman had some academics that needs to be completed before he joins the team.

Yes they scrimmaged on Thursday night at Melo.

Pay side?
I'm out of the loop.
The only pay option I see is for no adds.
Please tell me more.

Im feeling this year we won't be soft
Yea with you. Last year they were as soft as they get. 2 years ago I didn't feel that way but at the same time they were younger and still playing against the covid super seniors.

I really like seeing Jr's and Srs going to work in the gym. I don't think we had that the last few years.

After watching TBT it just reinforces more than anything to me this needs to come down to putting 5 guys on the court who can play together on offense yet more importantly are committed and locked in to playing good defense. Offensive figures and capabilities are fun but it’s gotta be all about getting stops and rebounding and then finding the right balance on offense.

Getting a true 1 and then defensive minded bigs is important but all the talk etc on the offensive options is fun but it’s all moot if we are purely against relying on being harder to defend as the primary source of optimism.
