This is where Zephir will be a valuable member of the roster. He's clearly quite strong and physical at the guard spot. He can push a guy like Kiyan around and show him what is waiting in the regular season.

Yup. A few things. This team is physically the best team we have had in a long time. We have some big dudes with some meat on their bones that won’t get pushed around. Think the Houston model. This is the most athletic team we’ve had since probably 2016/2017. And probably our best all around team since around 2013. To be honest there are only TWO things holding me back from getting REALLY excited about this team.

One…I’m not sold on the center position. We don’t need those guys to be world beaters on offense. This team has enough offense. We just need the center spot to be really good rebounders and protect the rim. That’s to be seen

Two….and my biggest concern and glaring weakness is coaching. I’m not sold on Red. I think he’s more of a liability than a plus which should never be the case with your head coach if you want to be successful but that’s just where we are.

How plugged in are you and is that very wise? What's the purpose? I fully disagree with your style for many reasons, I also fully disagree with your assessment, I am also glad the players and future recruits listen to him and the rest of the coaching staff not the naysayers no matter how many likes they have. To be fair, there are no more walk ons and he is on the roster. The only "walk on" or former walk on that is currently on the roster. I didn't go through all the photos and take a head count, but if they were trying to get a shot of every player, why not include him?

Totally agree that #2 is the biggest concern and why I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid.

How is it rude? We know he's a walk on in part because his family is helping with NIL.

Couple things- it's generally frowned upon to ask insiders where information comes from. If they reveal sources, those sources probably won't be sources anymore. But I don't think CuseMan4 was really revealing inside information on this particular post, but rather just his opinions.

And we're coming off the worst season in over 60 years in Red's second year as coach. I think it's very fair to question the leader under those circumstances and he's far from the only poster doing it.

I try to be pretty optimistic, but also realistic, and not everything is sunshine and roses in the hoops program at this point, but hopefully this season turns it around.
