no victory by a team north of the mason-dixon line over a team south of said line shall go unpunished. 50 demerits and a public reprimand for such an offense.Strict violation of rule 22a of the acc bylaws, beating clemson is strictly prohibited.
exactly been going on forever now. OF COURSE they picked Syracuse to enforce it.Every team does it. You know how many times it happened against us last year? It’s coached by literally everyone.
Just looked it up, 1 team in all of college football has been fined for faking injuries . It just so happened it was Syracuse after rolling over the ACC Kingpins . Total unadulterated BSThe point is that it’s common practice everywhere, but we beat Clemson at Clemson and their loser QB cries and we get hit. Let’s see who else gets fined …..I can make a real educated guess ! #^*}% the ACC.

Reminds me of the NCAA hoops stuff where we took the brunt of punishment vs say NC who created a whole curriculum to keep their kids eligible and the line was coined that should be used here that "the NCAA was so pissed at UNC that they gave SYRACUSE another 6 months probation!"
"The ACC was so upset at what's been going on for 10 years now they fined Syracuse $25,000!"
I hate booing of an injured player, real or not.
Ive been booing and cursing out acc refs for over 10 years now.Fair point. My boo would be directed at the officials.
would you mind STO looking up the dreaded high knee pad violation penalty that was called 2x on us vs Tn in '98 that I had never personally seen in any game before or since? Thank you in advance bud!Just looked it up, 1 team in all of college football has been fined for faking injuries . It just so happened it was Syracuse after rolling over the ACC Kingpins . No asterisk here, we whooped that assIf we did this to Stanford, there is no way we would’ve been fined.
This was mostly about putting an * next to our win vs Clemson.
I present you with Georgia Tech vs. Clemson from 9/13/2025. Go to 2:20:21 of the video. Watch #8 for Clemson. During the play and the aftermath. Clemson doesn’t get fined for this???? Give me a break.
I'd pay the fine in penniesYeah we should send that clip in with our check lol

Stupid. If that's the SU position, why say anything at all?
So the AD and football staff can reference the “official statement” and not comment further when asked in an interviewStupid. If that's the SU position, why say anything at all?
It’s about money now…. See Nebraska….the big 10 wont want us until we get AAU status back
It’s not that we aren't good at it….this probably happens a 100 times a week in college football and never gets called, more likely the ACC being pissed that we whooped their golden boy team because a meh QB cried in his presser. The extra time probably saved him from another interceptionAll of the conferences are trying to get rid of the faking of injuries. We aren't very good at it. It appears to be how they're coached. We rolled Clemson. Pay the $25K and move on.
The good news is people are watching Syracuse football and paying attention to our players again.
See my earlier post for a better statement that could still be referenced rather than answering any questions. So the AD and football staff can reference the “official statement” and not comment further when asked in an interview
