Syracuse just signed an athlete from Alabama

This guy has that "it" factor. Could be one of those players we look back at in a few years wondering how the hell none of the big boys were sniffing around.

Very glad to see this! He had a visit at and offer from Michigan. QB in HS with a laser arm, but still learning football. Could see time anywhere on the field really, O or D.

late pickup. QB/ATH thought you non recruiting guys might be interested. Watch the tape.

Kenterius Womack

What, how in the hell does a kid like this fall between the cracks. Way too dynamic, even with the awarkward throwing motion kid has a rocket arm, crazy athletic, something doesn't sniff right on this. Academics? Even if qb doesn't pan out for the usual reasons he's athletic enough to play other positions.

Obvious good sign that we beat out Michigan (again though I'm not sure I believe that either), this is one of those that I'll believe this one when I see him in Orange (err, grey, err white, err blue or whatever we're going to be in next year)

Crazy right. He's a apparently an honor roll kid. Small rural school in south Alabama.

Kid is smart, humble, a hard worker and a freaky athlete. The perfect mixture of what we're looking for! Potential oozing out of him at a multitude of positions.

big frame - could fill out nice- looks way fast for his size - no way this kid doesnt contribute -

maybe just maybe the bad mojo is starting to let go of its grip on su football

Humble? .

Glad the staff held out last week and didn't just fill the class with a body. Smart, athletic kids will usually find a way to contribute somewhere.

People of course are bashing the kids ability on a local news papers board. Of course pointing to the fact that he didnt have many offers. A coach of his came on the board to fire back, and stated,

"I was his offensive coordinator and qb coach last year. In a collegiate offense he threw the ball vertically about 25 times a game and had a 70 percent completion percentage and only 3 picks in 13 games. Smart, tall, fast, and throws the best deep ball I've seen at that age. Wonderful student and person. Syracuse nation you got an Ameer Abdullah type player...another Alabama kid picked up late. WOMACK HAD 50+ OFFERS IN TWO DAYS. You lost all credibility when you compared Alabama high school football with New Yorks...really? I will be flying to Syracuse and wearing orange. You guys stole one!"

While I'm not sure the 50+ offers is true, articles have said that up too 100 or more schools inquired about him after NLI Day passed. He's a very interesting pickup who looks like a shiftier, faster Hunt. Throwing mechanics can big fixed, but I'm never let down by a QB who tucks and runs -- even if it's a little early. Sometimes those are what opens up the next play when blocking is there. Lots of excitement going into the 2015 season, but that 2016 Spring Game is going to be a hoot.

It doesn't hurt his family/friends can fly directly to Syracuse from Atlanta.
I like athletes if you have speed and athleticism coaches can bring out your talent. Good luck to the kid and welcome aboard.

Do you have an account over there? If so, help the coach out and tell him how to get here. That place makes cesspools look good.
