It's never that simple.

Heck, with Trey, Aldy and Custis as targets...I'd even tolerate all the fades.Good comparison, I just wish we ran TCU's offense (minus their love for fade passes).
It is odd but who knew about Jason Bromley until the NYC All Star game in June 2 months before August camp? We go get him. 8 weeks later he's playing as true frosh on the defensive line. 4 years later he's in the NFL.
There's exceptions and this kid seems to have that Bromley sort of dominance. The comp down in NYC and LI is terrible to. That's the knock on Perkins and Fredericks right now. This kid on the film looks like he would at least tear up LI.
I don't think he has the frame to grow into a DT ;-)With all the scrutiny and all the attention paid, it is a wonder that a kid like Jason Bromley could fall through the cracks.
I watched the film of Ketrenius Womack again last night.
I am more impressed now than I was after the first time I watched. He is really quick, very athletic and seems to have a pretty decent arm.
I would be truly be a change in SU Football karma if he turned out to be another Jay Bromley.
The harder this staff works on the recruiting trail, the luckier they get. This is not the first diamond they have found.look we fell face into a pile of dung and came out with a diamond stuck in our teeth -

He has YAC written all over him should receiver be his position. One thing to remember watching him play in rural Alabama (Cotton Belt)...is the speed he is playing against is generally higher than a film of a kid playing in the NE. That said...I still think the kid redshirts and works on his form if the coaches think they have a potential star QB. If they play him as a True Frosh than the coaches will play him on STs or in a Broyld/Estime type role.
I don't disagree Mark, but I could see one of the new QB's (Womack or Dungey) cracking the 2-deep before mid-season.One thing to remember watching him play in rural Alabama (Cotton Belt)...is the speed he is playing against is generally higher than a film of a kid playing in the NE. I like the way he throws.
Seems to have a quick release and at times seems very accurate.
There a few throws where he is right on the money.
So, I hope he is given a full opportunity to play QB - we need an athlete at that position.
as tipphill said, i am also barely a functioning paranoid who is chronically suspicious - but that seems like 1 of the more insulting assumptions to make about a coach.
Could be the case... but we aren't talking about some teacher who was forced into the head coaching position to save the team, hell we aren't even talking about legendary high school coach Rush Probst. We are talking about a former UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA head football coach. Are you really telling me Georgia State or Georgia Southern wouldn't offer ANYONE that Dubose recommended?
