Syracuse opens -5 vs NC State on saturday

You're right. Silly me for looking at a positive. Would it make you happier if I just posted something more negative?
We are all adults here, I believe. In my opinion, no need to sugar coat things, our offense is offensive, period. Not every coaching decision is right, not every recruit is a diamond in the rough...

Syracuse should beat NCState. Our offense may be young/new/confused, but our D is solid and their D is, well, missing.

What the heck happened to them?

They started playing some real programs.

I would have guessed the line would open at Cuse -6. Basically they are saying this is a toss up on a neutral field. imo we are a better team then NC ST.

Beamer/Schiano/Rutgers style scheduling. Makes a team look good in September in hopes that no one will remember performances in October and November.

I was just over reading the NC State board. One of the posters said snow was forecasted for game time and wondered if it would play a factor. (Not sure if he was being sarcastic)

::wonders how long this guy has been sitting on the his "offense is offensive" line::

this game is no different than last week or the maryland game or as it turns out even the FSU game, if we dont turn the ball over we win.

Yep...got to make plays and win the game. SU doesn't have the talent to mail in anything and breeze to a win but it does have the talent to win the rest of the games left on the schedule starting with NCS. The Wolfpack played pretty decent at Louisville and it is possible they may be coming around from getting punched hard in their last bunch of games.

About as long as you've been sitting on your lame reply...

Ask Tyrone Willingham about those pesky wind gusts.

How can we be cocky about scoring against anybody, especially tds... Unless I see it with my own eyes I don't know for sure our offense could score a td against 11 tackling dummies... Also, their qb is a legit running threat, so show me we can contain a mobile qb... God knows we are going to see solid mobile qbs from here on out...
I've gotta say I don't disagree. I'm skeptical about our offense scoring on anyone until it happens and I'm still afraid of a mobile quarterback. I'm not saying we lose, but we have no reason to be cocky.

A cocky Orange football fan is really a crazy notion. Confident yes (and I am), but after Nova, I can't imaging anyone sober being cocky.
