Has this game been confirmed? If so, is there a date set yet? Just trying to see if I can make it happen...

I thought I saw somewhere that it was like December 10th but I don’t know if that’s official or not

supposedly dec 7 according to TT.

I'm hoping to take my 7-year-old son to this game. Our last time at the Garden was when he was 4 against UConn November 2018. Once the national anthem ended he asked if it was time to leave.
That might have been a good time to leave. I hated that game and the UConn fans were particularly obnoxious. A few of them near me got booted by security before halftime. Jalen Carey scored a bunch of points. Then Oregon happened the next night.

That whole weekend was awful

3 losses

A real nightmare weekend. Was my first trip to the Garden. My flight to NYC was cancelled while sitting on the runway in Buffalo, so I missed the UConn game. Flight the next day was delayed so long that we didn't get to the Garden until almost halftime of the Oregon game. My seats were 5th row center court. What a massive waste.

Glass half-full perspective: if you absolutely had to pick two games at MSG to miss due to weather, you definitely got the right ones. The games totally sucked and even walking around the city that night was painful due to the ice/snow storm.

My apartment is just down the road from MSG and it look prolly a solid 40-45 mins just to get to the game from my place during that storm.

Just a shot in the dark here and I highly doubt they do this, but Is there any chance SU will do some sort of meet and greet or autograph opportunities for kids? I’d love to get my nephew an autograph or an opportunity to take a picture with any player or coach or something. He would absolutely love it. I doubt they do anything like that but just figured I’d ask.

There has historically been a Boys and Girls club dinner a little before the start of the season. If your kid lives in Syracuse and is a member of a Boys and Girls club, that is an option.

Players get paired with kids, one player per table (some get a coach). The players will typically sign autographs and post for photos during this event. It is low key and the players are really accessible.

There is also the Hardwood Club dinner, which is held at the end of the season. That one also typically allows kids to bring in stuff for players to sign and it is typically possible to get a photo with a player.

Lastly, the Basket Ball is also a place where you can stand in line and get a picture autographed. Some picture opportunities are also possible here.

Might be other ways to meet players and get autographs or photos but these are some of your best options.

It should be against board rules to even mention that weekend.

I had a lot of fun, but each loss hit harder and harder than the one before. I tried to go out and party with everyone after the football game but I just didn't have it in me. I was defeated.

Then of course, I get to the airport the next morning and found out that when I purchased my return ticket home (which I remembered to do at the Blarney before the Oregon game) I had accidently bought a ticket for a date 2 weeks after I actually needed to leave.

Ahhh okay. Unfortunately my nephew lives in Long Island and we don’t really have any connections to the university but I appreciate the response. Prob gonna try and show up very early for shoot around and see if we can walk down towards the court and maybe get someone to come over.

That makes it tougher.

One more thought.

I think the ACC tournament is in Brooklyn this year.

Might be a good opportunity there to corner some of the Syracuse players who arrive early for one of their games, or stay late after a game to scout some of the other ACC teams.
