Taj Harris transferring to Rutgers..Leaving Rutgers

How long until this thread gets locked? ;)

He wasn't happy with his personal situation here. I've got no problem with him leaving if he feels that it's not what's best for him. Sucks, but never faulting anybody for getting out of a bad situation for them. Wish him the best.

I wish him well. You can question a lot about him but he always tried hard on the field.

I hope he puts up great numbers and has a great career. And I hope he ends up at a school that will not play against Syracuse while he is there.
Has he withdrawn from his studies as well?

The fact that Taj was likely suspended for the past 2 games makes me think his parting was mutual.
They do need to close the portal during the season, as this can become very distracting, particularly with guys posting their offers.

I'd wish him the best if he left in the offseason. Walking away from your teammates mid season. Leaving them short a man. I don't wish anything bad of him, at all, but I just generally feel nothing.
I think it's fair to feel pissed because it's complete BS. I don't buy all this well he needs to do what's best for him nonsense. I would if he didn't screw the team over in the process but leaving mid-season isn't what team players do. It's what primadonna's do. Taj and Jarveon are dead to me.

Dino said he had a "heart to heart" conversation with him which I interpreted to mean that Dino was through with the distractions and it was time to move on.

Wherever he goes; he will. Good player, and good teamate. (Why he was brought to ACC media day) I wish him well wherever he winds up.

So Taj gave the staff an ultimatum about TD being the QB or he’s leaving? Obviously being the primary receiver for a QB who only throws to his first target is his ideal world. Shrader might have made some cool opportunities for Taj as he became more comfortable in game scenarios.

I sometimes like to sort things into "what we know" and "what we think we know" about a player

Lotta people must know this kid personally

I think he's fiery and can be immature based on what we know. That's it. If there's more out there from *personal experience* I'll add it to the "what we know pool" otherwise, I think it's prob best to chuck out post and just root for him to succeed.*

*unless he ends up in the ACC or Rutgers

And Kentucky has now offered him.

he’s shouting them out on his Insta

No. He had a knee.(minor)

Question for those in the know, with all the crazy new rules can he just go and play immediately, as in this season? Next season? Have to Sit out a year?

A reasonable take.

What if he's so fiery because he wants to WIN so bad? You might even take a kid like that to ACC media day.

Hopefully, With more maturity he can keep that fire in check. Fans don't like it.

He can’t play until next season. He’s already missed the deadline for this season.

he will be immediately eligible for next season tho

I'll wish Jordan well before I do Harris or Howard. Jordan might be playing for one of our rivals but at least he didn't leave the team in a lurch. To be clear not wishing them well doesn't mean I want them to fail at life. It means I don't give two rats craps if they do or don't.

The guy he'd be playing for is a Leech.

Warning to Impressionable People: F-Bomb Alert, Explicit Language.
that's a quality rant right there. De-motivating

If the NCAA has a new rule that allows players to enter the portal to transfer without consequences, do we still need the Four Game Rule? How about if players can preserve a year if they play four or less games at their current school? A chance to redshirt for an injury or some other circumstance? I don’t buy that a kid needs a chance to play up to four games at a school and can then transfer to a different school and keep that year of eligibility. Coaches don’t transfer mid year.
