Wake went with an option look frequently in the beginning of the year and really struggled. They've since scrapped that and the offense has looked so much better the past few weeks. I think they're clearly the #3 team in the Atlantic at the moment, the defense is pretty solid too led by their DT Whitlock.

With that said a Miami loss is a big blow to the ACC

Impressed by Wake today. Makes me less comfortable for next week...which says something given 0-56 set the bar low to begin with.

Miami has definitely hit a bit of a slump in their level of play, but are pulling the games out, which is a great sign if you're a Miami fan, future of that program under Golden. Maybe they've been in look ahead mode to this weekend, who knows.

Wake is averaging 325 yards on offense, giving up 370 on defense. Net negative 45. They will be playing a Syracuse team that will as focused as possible on beating them. There's no overlooking going on here.

I don't take much from that Miami game. I get that Price, Harris, Campanero are pretty good players, but it hasn't translated into THAT much offense for them. My biggest worry is that they're Dome tested, but still, different game this weekend.
