He has done a nice job during the crisis, but he still is what he was before the crisis, a guy who loves attention and times announcements to get maximum attention with little blow back from those impacted by the decision. He reminds me of Guliani post 9/11. Lot of sins forgotten...let's hope Cuomos final act is better than Rudy's

so its ok for SU people to hope and want fball/bball but its bad to try to not postpone the fair that will happen at the same time over a much larger outdoor area with a crowd thats roughly the same size?

Syracuse cancels all outdoor festivals through November, and it’s not just the coronavirus

Several events, including the Syracuse Irish Festival and the Westcott Street Cultural Fair, are among the impacted festivals.

Strathmore Parks Run – Sept. 20

Westcott Festival – Sept. 27

Inner Harbor 5K – Oct. 4

I lived in Liverpool until I was about 11 years. I had no idea the State Fair was ever in Syracuse or was such a big deal until I started reading this board. I don't remember ever going and we were the type of family that typically did stuff like that. I'll have to ask my parents why they deprived me or if my memories of going have somehow disappeared.
