TE Aaron Hackett transferring to Kent St

Guys are going to leave with the new transfer rule. The two on o were a redshirt junior and senior. I could see s. Johnson. Thompson-bishop, Hendricks transfer. Maybe a couple other wr. D we may loose a couple.

Hendrix ? where to, Medical College ?

Mahar is 6'5 225. He and Benson are nearly the same size. There is a role for these guys but it starts with getting the OL in order and then the offseason, Gilbert's first one.

But didnt you also hear that TD was gone? Not bashing...just hoping your info isnt all there is all. Really dont want to see a mass exodus.

yup, hoping that others have changed their mind and heart like TD.

My info that I heard from was super close to TD so this was a change within the last week or 2.

which is a positive on this team and on Babers.

I would expect us to bring in a transfer WR now

Babers should review tapes of games Dick MacPherson coached and his effective use of the TE position as a pass catcher.
All they need to do is watch ND's offense.

Thats a pretty damn good pivot for Hackett. Congrats to the young man. Correct me if I’m wrong but they like to sling the ball as well. Good stuff.
And probably to the TE

Over under on how many receptions he has for TCU?
In 2020, the TCU TE’s had a combined 2.3 receptions per game. In 2019, they combined for 2.5 receptions per game. In 2018, they combined for 0.5 receptions per game. In 2017 (the last time they threw for over 3,000 yards), they combined for 0.6 receptions per game. I’d put the O/U at 16.

He caught 45 passes here? I think 20 is the number.

Aaron is a fine Tight End. He was ranking tops in the country, per PFF, for pass pro this year. (#1 early on. 6? games in? ) If he felt they weren't going to utilize him in the receiving game, he needed to move along. He'll light it up. Best of luck, to one of our better players.
